Refund policy

30-day returns for unopened items

We have a 30-day return policy for unopened items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for such a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with seals intact and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards under this policy. Purchases with gift cards, discount coupons and sale discounts applied are not returnable for change-of-mind.

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If the item is defective or damaged, please tell us what is wrong and send us any information or evidence (such as photos) we may need to assess the situation. If you received the wrong item, please do not open the seal on the packaging, as we may ask you to return the item (at our cost).

Starting a return

To start a return, you can contact us at shop@seaspritzco.com.au. We will evaluate your request against our policy. For faster return processing, please forward the email containing your invoice and proof of purchase, but include "RETURN REQUEST" at the start of the email subject line. Please supply any details, photos and attachments in the email. Our friendly team will contact you if we need any more information.

If your return is accepted, we’ll provide instructions on how and where to send your return package. If you are returning goods due to an issue, we will send you a return label for postage. Otherwise, for change-of-mind returns under our 30-day policy, you will need to arrange postage at your own cost. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return under this policy will not be accepted. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products that have been opened). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. For non-returnable items where you are entitled to an exchange or refund due to damage or an issue, we will provide you with safe disposal instructions in addition to the exchange and refund.

Refunds

Refunds will only be paid:

  • For 30-day change-of-mind returns: After we receive the returned goods and have inspected them to confirm that they remain sealed, unused and undamaged.
  • For refunds due to wrong items, issues or defects, where we require the return of the goods: After we receive the returned goods and have inspected them to confirm the issue or defect.
  • For refunds due to wrong items, issues or defects, where the item is non-returnable: After we advise you that we approve your refund request and provide you with disposal instructions for the item.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return (or assessed a request relating to a non-returnable item), and let you know if a refund request was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As noted above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with seals, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Statutory warranties and return rights under law

In some cases, you might be entitled to a return due to a statutory warranty or other legal obligation. If you believe you have a legal right to a return (e.g. due to a statutory warranty), please send us details and evidence supporting your claim, so that we can assess it, as we would a claim made under the "damages and issues" section above.
